Hudson Meridian was contracted for Construction Management of this eight-story, 102,000 sq. ft. luxury condominium building, which actually includes two buildings adjoined by a catwalk and landscaped courtyard.
Features include a rooftop pool, state-of-the-art gym, community garden as well as high-end finishes and appliances. The building is the first project to receive NYC approval for the use of the new TingWall™ curtain wall system.
Challenges of the project included extensive de-watering requirements and underpinnings of adjacent structures. Soil mixing technologies were employed to resolve issues of stabilization to adjacent soil.
Project Highlights:
- Lobby – Pietra Bedonia honed stone back walls, floors and reception desk, Novelda Crema stone side walls
- Interiors – floor to ceiling windows, ceiling heights from 9’ to 18’, European-style glass pocket-doors, white painted solid maple floors, glass walled terraces and balconies in some residences
- Technology – all rooms wired with fiber optics for digital cable, high-speed internet and multiple phone lines
- Kitchen – Celodor oyster stone countertops, Almillmo kitchens with glass and laquered cabinets, and high-end appliances
- Master bath – Le Sete ceramic floor to ceiling walls, Broughton Moor honed stone featured in wall and floor
- Soil Remediation – employed soil mixing technologies to stabilize soil during underpinning
- Amenities – rooftop sun deck with pool and private cabanas, courtyard garden and state-of-the-art health and fitness center
