Construction of a six-story, 75,000 sq. ft. mid-rise, residential condominium in Long Island City. The building is a reinforced masonry and plank structure supported by a pile foundation. The exterior façade is architectural stone with zinc coated steel panels. The building contains one- and two-bedroom units, as well as three-bedroom duplexes. The units have attached outdoor balconies or terraces as well as roof top cabanas. The complex also contains an on-site health and fitness club, and an indoor parking garage.
Project Highlights:
- Kitchens – open floor plan with stainless steel appliances, Pietra Cardosa volcanic stone countertops, blue pennytile backsplashes and translucent glass cabinets
- Baths – custom vanities, stone counters, largesoaking tubs and vessel sinks
- Lobby – eucalyptus wood, stone floors and metal walls
- Environmental – the site is located in an environmental “e” designated area and soil removed from the site was treated as contaminated
